Our Team

Dr. Milind Desai has been in practice in the greater Knoxville area since, 1998. He joined the happy family at Farragut Eye Clinic in November of 2002. He and his wife, Dr. Lina Desai, purchased the practice in February 2004. Dr. Milind Desai is a graduate of Bearden High School and received his training at University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and Southern College of Optometry.
 

Dr. Desai’s scope of practice includes diagnosing and treating ocular disease and infection, fitting specialty contact lenses including Ortho-K and Scleral lenses, LASIK co-management, pediatrics, and sports vision. He is also trained to test patients on the iWellness OCT that can digitally photograph and analyze the nerve fiber layer of the retina to better diagnose diseases such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy.

Dr. Lina Desai, originally from San Jose CA, moved to the Knoxville area in 2001. She joined Farragut Eye Clinic in March 2003, and purchased the practice in February 2004 with her husband, Dr. Milind Desai. She has practiced optometry since 1999. Dr. Lina Desai received her training at UC Berkeley and New England College of Optometry.

Drs. Milind and Lina Desai have 2 children, and enjoy serving the eye care needs of your entire family.
